Pencil Renders

This step in my process helps me understand the value structure of my compositions. Before I embark on the final step in painting the image using watercolor, I will assess the pencil render and make any needed corrections.

Water Color

This is the stage where I will complete a separate image in watercolor after the pencil rendering. Most of the decision making has already occurred regarding the composition, values, and subject matter. Now, I will paint the final image. This part of the process is the dessert portion; the part that I like the best.
